Curiosities about Britain

English people have four meals a day : BREAKFAST, LUNCH, TEA TIME and DINNER

Now every English family eats a bowl of cereals, a slice of toast, orange juice and a cup of coffee for breakfast.

Many people can't come back home for lunch, so children eat at school and adults eat at work a 'packed lunch': a sandwich, a packet of crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink.

A typical British dinner (supper) is roast meat and two vegetables: potatoes, carrots or brussel sprouts. Other people in Britain eat curry, Rice or pasta for dinner.

I complici di Catilina, Sallustio, 14 I seguaci di Catilina

I complici di Catilina  TESTO LATINO  - S allustio, De coniuratione Catilinae, 14.

TRADUZIONE CONTRASTIVA: MARZIALE, Per la morte della piccola Eròtion Epigramma V, 34 Hanc tibi, Fronto pater, genetrix Flaccilla, puellam oscula commendo deliciasque meas, parvola ne nigras horrescat Erotion umbras oraque Tartarei prodigiosa canis. Impletura fuit sextae modo frigora brumae, vixisset totidem ni minus illa dies.

VERSIONE DI LATINO Nondum certa Romanis victoria erat ; alia iis supererat moles. His adhortationibus iterum coorti , milites Romani pellunt loco primos...
