How was the Anglo-Saxon society organised?

 The Anglo-Saxon society was founded on  loyalty to the clan (family). The hall was the centre of communal Life. At the top of the social system there was the king. The Anglo-Saxons made Seven Kingdoms, called Heptarchy.
